Having an idea is one thing; executing that idea is a whole other adventure. Welcome to that result of that journey - 1TeamEDGE. What was supposed to be a simple web-site to capture activity as a Channel-Manager-as-a-Service transformed into a 'Field Book' for Channel Managers and Territory Teams to make it nearly seamless to work together with their Channel Sellers who are focused on activities that result in Net-New meetings. And to track each team's own journey along the way to gaining New Customers.

VAR Sellers are the cornerstone in building or expanding a manufacturer's customer base. Across the 100+ QBRs I was engaged in as a manufacturer Sales Leader, I don't recall ever seeing a Top VAR Seller list, or if I, as a Sales Leader, just had a blind spot for seeing the Forest (Partners) for the Trees (Sellers). 1TeamEDGE puts Sellers first, helping Territory Teams work with more Sellers and invest more successfully in their Campaigns to get Net-New meetings.


The net result is a website optimized for desktop and mobile devices that is focused on the pre-Opportunity Workflow—all the activity and energy that results in a new opportunity in your CRM. Which reminds me, 1TeamEDGE is not a CRM, nor is it a PRM. By focusing on net-new meetings with sellers, we are uniquely focused on seller success, which is the foundation of a healthy pipeline.


More to come on creating 1TeamEDGE and the challenges with starting something new, using no-code and low-code tools as well as how AI played a part in getting over the hump.
